Your tour guides will highlight opportunities for community benefits through the construction phase, discuss the potential impacts on local communities, and share resident stories. Along the way, we will point out notable landmarks, such as the Finch LRT Maintenance and Storage Facility, which is the site of a proposed community hub and centre for the arts.
The tour will begin at the Champagne Centre, travel along Finch to Humber College, and then make its way back. Bus tours will leave at 12:30pm, 1:00pm and 1:30pm. Bagged lunches will be provided before participants leave the Champagne Centre and refreshments will be served. A shuttle bus is provided to take participants of the Dinner Celebration to the York University campus.
