We invite community leaders, agencies, residents and stakeholders on the May 7th, 2019 to the Finch West LRT Steering Committee.

At this meeting we will:

1. Review the Community Benefits and Apprenticeship plan,
2. Develop our community monitoring plan, and
3. Strategize on how the community can work collectively to help ensure the fulfillment of hiring and social procurement goals for the Finch West LRT.

What is at stake?

1. 10% of total apprenticeship hours,
2. Professional administrative and technical jobs,
3. Social procurement opportunities for social enterprises and local businesses,
4. Land designated for community use

We strongly encourage residents, community leaders and service providers to attend this meeting as your perspective and insight are vital in this process.
