Newsletter March 2019

TCBN is proud to be at the forefront of the community benefits movement in Toronto and since our incorporation on March 17, 2014, our community, labour and construction industry partnerships are starting to show results.

The evidence - every year the Ontario Construction Secretariat surveys 500 of Ontario's industrial, commercial and institutional contractors. For the first time, the question of community benefits was asked. The good news is that most contractors do not consider community benefits to be a concern at all! Read the report HERE. Community Benefits Agreements are in fact, a great solution to recruiting skilled workers - construction employers biggest concern at 72%.

COMMUNITY BENEFITS DAY ON THE HILL (MARCH 20, 2019)

We would like to thank Senator Ratna Omidvar for sponsoring this Bill at the senate. Join us on social media to follow this exciting day! Details of Bill C-344 HERE.
