Requirements to join the Local:
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma
- Interest in skilled craftsmanship
- Courses in woodworking, metalworking, and mechanical drawing an asset
- Algebra and geometry an asset
- Science and physics an asset
- Desire to learn and progress
- Skilled with numbers/math
- Enjoy working with their hands
- Reasonable health conditions – health test results required
- Must be comfortable with working at heights - up to 100+ feet
- Insulation experience an asset
