Ironworker’s Local 721 was chartered on July 21, 1949. It was previously chartered, in Toronto, as Local 4 on the 15th day of September, 1902!

Local 721 represent over 3500 members and together have erected some of the most prestigious buildings in Ontario including the Skyline of Toronto which includes the CN Tower, Rogers Center, BMO Field,Canada’s Wonderland and the Subway system, also built and maintain several Hydro Electric Power Generation Plants and four major Automobile Manufacturing Plants.

Local 721 supply contractors with Structural Ornamental & Reinforcing lronworkers, Overhead Door Mechanics, Architectural and Ornamental and Residential IW, Riggers, Welders,Machinery and In-plant Maintenance personnel.

Local 721 the registered Training Delivery Agent for lronworkers & Reinforcing Rodworker Apprenticeship Programs. We also provide various Journeyman upgrading courses.
