One of the original founding members of the TCBN, the Labour Education Centre has supported the TCBN in its development of our community benefits agreement with Metrolinx, and continues to support us in our endeavour to uphold the CBA

LEC services for job seekers include a drop-in resource centre with use of computers, faxes and photocopying for job search, free workshops to prepare for the labour market and access to Employment Ontario training programs.

LEC also offers the TradeLinx Apprenticeship Training program. TradeLinx aims to help people in low-income neighbourhoods by providing access to trades training. To qualify for placement in the program, students must be Ontario Works recipients and have Grade 10 English and math or its equivalency.
